Palm Springs Adventures

Hi everyone!!!! I know I haven't been keeping up to date on my blog but I haven't been too interesting this year. haha Well this weekend I went to Palm Springs because I needed a break! I might be a workaholic.... I work two jobs and want to get a third job as well. I never change but the goal is to find that one great job where you only want to do that and nothing else. So I left on Friday for Palm Springs due to a living social deal (they are great!!!) Got in, dressed up and went to a local pub hung out and got really competitive playing a bar game. There is a reason why I don't compete in sports and its not because I am able to take down a guy twice my size (true story). We drank our bottle of wine and got into the mineral water hot tub!!! Saturday, my friend and I slept in (and no it wasn't a guy friend or that kind of friend..... take your mind out of the gutter ppl!). Then we went hiking in Tahquitz Canyon which was a nice hike, not too strenuous and gorgeous. Flirted with a couple of hikers, went into the cold water, and fell down...... at the base before we even started! I swear I must be the most clumsiest person in the whole world. We haven't even started and I fall before I start the trail. We then got lost, saw the beautiful oasis and beat the rain! Went back to our room, slept, got ready for dinner, looked hot, bar hopped and came back and rested some more. Oh and did I mention we went off roading? Did I also mentioned I went in my Nissan Sentra and I am fairly sure I trespassed  on private property..... haha I swear, the things I get myself into! So last day, Jessica and I went on the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway and it was AWESOME! The Tram rotates 360 degrees and the mountain was covered in a blanket of snow. Gorgeous!!! So we get to the top of the mountain and its snowing so Jessica and I are acting like little kids who never seen snow before. So went inside and then went outside and played in the snow. Now consider this, we are a pair of LA girls, we only have jeans, tennis  shoes, and a coat. We go outside, scream, jump in the snow, touch it, throw at each other, take pictures, and then run back inside! One thing is for sure......snow is COLD!!!! So we go inside and try to get some feelings back in our hands and pray we didn't get frost bite. We walk around the gift store and then ask when is the next tram down. 4 minutes (the guy with the sexy Aussie accent tells us) so what do Jessica and I do? Run back outside and do everything over again with a new thing.... I fell in the snow.... twice! Lol it was so funny but I mean I am one of the clumsiest, accident prone girl I know. So I dust the snow off and we run inside and catch the tram in time. Great times in Palm Springs!!! :)
